About Dr. Chi
Dr. Amos Chi is an esteemed professional with a rich academic and military background. After graduating from the University of Virginia with a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, he achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland in 2005. Dr. Chi's commitment to advanced education is evident in his completion of a three-year prosthodontics residency at the U.S. Army Postgraduate Dental School in Augusta, Georgia, in 2008. He also earned a Master of Sciences in Oral Biology from the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University, with his thesis on 'Resistance to Abrasion of Extrinsic Porcelain Esthetic Characterization Techniques' published in the Army Medical Department Journal.

Further enhancing his expertise, Dr. Chi pursued a fellowship in Oral Oncology and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics at The University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas, in 2018. His clinical work, titled 'Prosthodontic treatment of a patient with Ewing sarcoma of the left maxillary sinus: A clinical report,' was published in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry. Notably, he contributed to the scientific community with a systematic review and meta-analysis on 'The Effects of Zinc on Radiation-Induced Dysgeusia,' published in Supportive Care in Cancer.

Dr. Chi's outstanding contributions have garnered him several accolades, including the Maxillofacial Foundation Award from the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthodontics in 2018. In recognition of his meritorious service, he received the Meritorious Service Medal from the United States Army in July 2016. As an accomplished speaker, Dr. Chi was invited to share his expertise at the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Korea Section, and Seoul International Dental Exhibition & Scientific Congress, presenting on 'Zirconia Restorations.'

A prolific author, Dr. Chi has multiple publications in both national and international journals, along with poster discussions at prestigious conferences. Notably, he presented abstracts on 'Prosthodontic treatment of a patient with Ewing sarcoma of the left maxillary sinus: A clinical report' and 'The effects of zinc on radiation-induced dysgeusia: A meta-analysis' during the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthodontics and American College of Prosthodontists meetings.
